Loved The Clash in Senior year. We drove to see them in Chicago in late '79. My favorite band.
Then went to school in Austin, came home when my dad called and asked if I wanted to see the playoffs in '82! So I went back there but was tired of school and decided to come back here and work in the family business (Shoe Stop). We started it in my junior year. I have 15 hours left to graduate, but just didn't care. I used to write music reviews for the Post Dispatch and always said it was who you know, not what you know.
Almost married this crazy gal in 2000. Thank God I came to my senses! Moved last year to Hawaii if you can believe it. Thought this other gal was the one, but just another phony. haha. Thank God I only rented my house!
Been doing a reggae show on KDHX since 1992. That's my true passion. Started a record label in 2003, Skank Records. I have 6 great cds with artists from all over the world. Check em out from the Skank link above. I'm tellin ya, crucial cds!
2008 was a tough year as I had ACL surgery, brain surgery (!) and lost my mom. But feeling great now, so all is cool. Give thanks everyday for my health. Life is awesome. |
